Far Cry 2 is going to pack a decent punch when it comes to multiplayer, and lets face it multiplayer modes keep use coming back for more, far cry 2 single player looks good also but there are no bragging rights when you defeat AI lol.

Ok here’s a few features of far cry 2 you may not of been aware of:

Far Cry 2 game modes will include the following: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Diamond and a mission-based mode, the far cry 2 mission based sounds very promising as to does the far cry 2 capture the flag, All of these modes will make far cry 2 stand out from the rest.

When it comes to multiplayer games variation is very important and its seems UBISOFT have actually thought of the players & also responded to the Far Cry 2 community.

There will be 2 teams on 14 different maps (Red & Blue is my guess) now that’s a spoiler if ever i saw one lol. There will be 6 different classes with different weapons and equipment throughout far cry 2 multiplayer mode, Now all of these multiplayer modes will be covered for all platforms, far cry 2 pc, far cry 2 ps3 and also far cry 2 xbox.

Now much like other FPS multiplayer modes far cry 2 will be much like, call of duty world at war, Batllefield 2 and other multiplayer games that use ranking / unlocks type systems. In Far Cry 2 The player gains experience points by killing enemies which he can use for weapon upgrades and other perk type items and so on.

Now what i find quite exciting is that Far Cry 2 multiplayer mode will include the Day / Night cycle and also as Fire propagation and the Weather System will influence the users experience, Now this will bring a lot of aspects to the table and should make the game a little more complicated (which is great for multiplayer games as they do often become much the same but in a different setting). Hats of to UBISOFT for pulling this off and implementing this feature into far cry 2 multiplayer mode, This will be a big draw card for many users / players who are tossing up what to buy at this time of the year. Far Cry 2 will make for an excellent Xmas gift that’s for sure.
